This page will tell you how to transfer
QuickMile data to a new PDA.
Congradulations you've just purchased a new
PDA and would like to transfer data to the new PDA. Please follow these
steps.
- Back up the qmdata file using these steps so that
you don't lose any data:
- Open the quickmile desktop.
- Select "Help/about QmDesk"
from the menu.
- You will see the file path of the
old quickmile data file: qmdata.qm.
- Using windows explorer, open that
folder and copy the qmdata.qm file into a safe place.

One way hotsync to update
your palm. (Only do this step if you can see your data. This step will
replace any data on your palm with the copy on the PC!)

Right click on the hotsync icon.

Select Custom.

Select Quickmile.

Select Desktop overwrites the handheld

Hotsync.

Your data should now be on the palm.
