QuickMile - Contact
The fastest way to keep track of your car's mileage,
expenses, fuel economy, and maintenance with a palm PDA.

This page will tell you how to transfer QuickMile data from one PC to another.

If the data is on your palm, then doing a hotsync on the new PC, should transfer the data from the palm to the PC.

If the data is not on the palm then do the following:

  1. Open the quickmile desktop on your old PC.  Select "Help/about QmDesk" from the menu.  You will see the file path of the quickmile data file: qmdata.qm.   Using windows explorer, open that folder and copy the qmdata.qm file onto a disk so that you can move it to the new PC.
  2. Now, find out where the qmdata file is stored on the new PC, by opening  the quickmile desktop, and selecting Help/about QmDesk.  Copy the file from the old PC into the location specified in the help box.
  3. When you open quickmile, on your new PC you should see the data.
