QuickMile - Registration Problems

If you have paid for the registration, entered the serial number keys into the desktop program, done a hotsync, and are still getting the registration nag screen, please follow these steps. 

1. The number one cause of problems with registration, is registering for the wrong product.  There are two Quickmile products - Basic and Deluxe.  Deluxe has expense records, Basic does not.  Deluxe is version 4.0.X and Basic is version 3.0.X.  You can check the version by opening the Quickmile desktop, and selecting "About QmDesk" from the help menu. 

If you have the wrong version, the solution is simple. Go to the downloads page, and download and install the correct version.  You can also pay an upgrade price to go from the Basic version to the Deluxe version if you like.

2. If you've verified that you have the correct version, but it's still giving the nag screen, then you probably have entered the keys incorrectly.  You can tell by opening the Quickmile desktop, and selecting "About QmDesk" from the help menu.  You will see a field which says: "Reg Code."  If this field is 1, you've entered in the numbers correctly, but if it says 0 you have not.

3. If after all of this you are still having problems, getting your palm to update the registration then do the following.  Add a bogus trip record, in your desktop program. Do a hot sync.  If this record shows up on your palm, your registration should also be updated.  If the record doesn't show then, contact tech support using our online form.
